અહીં આપણે પ્રેક્ટિસ કરવા જઈ રહ્યા છીએ તે તમામ પેટર્ન્સ અને તેમના મૂળભૂત સૂત્રો (Formulas) નીચે મુજબ છે:

૧. જો… તો (Conditionals: Future vs. Past Regret)

  • Future Possibility (શક્યતા/ચેતવણી):
    • {If} + \text{Simple Present (Active/Passive)}, \text{Subject} +{will / will have to} + V_1 / \text{be } V_3$
    • ઉદાહરણ: If the bug is fixed today, the build will be deployed tomorrow.
  • Past Regret / Unreal Past (ભૂતકાળનો પસ્તાવો/અવાસ્તવિક સ્થિતિ):
    • {If} + \text{Subject} +{had been} + V_3, \text{Subject} +{would have been} + V_3$
    • ઉદાહરણ: If the backup had been taken, the data would not have been lost.

૨. Capacity & Inability (શક્યતા અને ક્ષમતા: Can / Cannot / Could)

  • Present Passive Capability:
    • {Subject} +{can / cannot be} + V_3$
    • ઉદાહરણ: This PR cannot be merged without approval.
  • Past Passive Capability:
    • {Subject} +{could / could not be} + V_3$
    • ઉદાહરણ: The server could not be restarted yesterday.

૩. Regular / Routine Events (નિયમિત ઘટનાઓ: Simple Present Passive)

  • Affirmative & Negative (નિયમિત રૂટિન):
    • {Subject} +{am / is / are (not)} + V_3 + \text{Routine Indicator (daily/weekly/monthly)}$
    • ઉદાહરણ: The database is backed up every night.
  • Interrogative (પ્રશ્નાર્થ):
    • {Is / Are} + \text{Subject} + V_3 + \text{Routine Indicator}?$
    • ઉદાહરણ: Are these reports reviewed every Monday?

૪. Events with “When” (સમય આધારિત ક્રિયાઓ)

  • Past Simultaneous Action (ભૂતકાળમાં ચાલુ ક્રિયા):
    • {When} + \text{Past Action/State}, \text{Subject} +{was / were being} + V_3$
    • ઉદાહરણ: When you were in the meeting, the patch was being applied.
  • Future Sequential Action (ભવિષ્યનો સમય નિયમ – Zero ‘Will’):
    • {When} + \text{Simple Present}, \text{Subject} +{will be} + V_3$
    • ઉદાહરણ: When the testing is completed, you will be notified.

૫. Events with “Until” (શરતી સમય સીમા)

  • Until + Simple Present (Active/Passive):
    • {Main Action (Negative/Modal)} +{until} + \text{Subject} +{is / are} + V_3$ (અથવા $V_1$)
    • ઉદાહરણ: Access cannot be granted until the form is signed.

૬. Compulsion & Obligation (ફરજિયાતપણું: Must / Have to / Had to)

  • Present / Future Compulsion:
    • {Subject} +{must be / will have to be} + V_3$
    • ઉદાહરણ: The credentials must be updated every 90 days.
  • Past Compulsion:
    • {Subject} +{had to be} + V_3$
    • ઉદાહરણ: The release had to be postponed due to the critical bug.
